Taos Mountain Builders Launches Custom Cabinet and Door Business

Big news! After more than 45 years of business and over 20 years of building here in Taos, we’re expanding our services to introduce Taos Mountain Cabinets and Doors starting October 16th.

Tom Mastor, our founder and owner, often contacted local and regional cabinet shops for our various residential and commercial projects. With every call, he encountered the same frustration: lack of capacity and long lead times. As a company that prides itself on communication and finishing projects on time, we thought, “Why not do it ourselves?” So, that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Tom found a niche to fill in northern New Mexico, and so Taos Mountain Cabinets and Doors was born. Through this new venture, Tom and his team strive to uphold the standard we’ve set for ourselves over the last few decades.

Taos Mountain Cabinets and Doors will offer homeowners and contractors a variety of materials, layouts and finishes tailored to their needs. We’ll create whatever the client can dream up that fits their budget, built to last with quality you can see. 

We have two objectives for each project:
